Jaluwella is situated 300m from the famous Turtle beach in Rekawa, 20m above sea level and 15 km east of Tangalle.
A ten miles long stretched sandy beach to the west invites a walk through the soft sand along the shore. To the east you will find rocks and a more stony coastline where it is nice to climb around or to take a dip in one of the natural pools formed by the sea.
Because of the strong current it is recommended not to swim in the open water but not far away you can enjoy calm swimming bays.
Rekawa Lagoon is a few minutes walking distance and is home and shelter of some of the approximately 420 bird species that live on the island.
Some of them you can also find in our garden, attracted by the various fishponds that are spread throughout the property.
